Trip of The President of The United States of America to Hyde Park N.Y. 1938
The striking silhouette of a Streamliner looms over an antique locomotive on this commemorative cover celebrating FDR's trip to Hyde Park in October 1938. The Streamliner S1 was designed by Raymond Loewy for the Pennsylvania Railroad and entered service on New York's Albany line in 1938.
