The 1930s was the golden era of menu design and this simple but striking design of a cocktail glass was created for Pfeiffer's in Buffalo, New York. At that time, the city had a large Russian population and the drinks list of the Russian Bar comprised seven pages and included flips, daisies, rickeys, sours and smashes.
