Two friends named CD and Ruby ate at this American and Chinese restaurant in Portland Oregon on December 19th, 1940. They shared Pork Noodle, Almond Chicken Chow Mein, Roast Pork and Almond Cookies. They did not order a single one of the 22 oyster dishes listed herein nor did they indicate trying the dry Chateau Yquem wine for only 15 cents a glass, or the 1928 Haute Sauterne for but $1.50 a bottle.
