This intriguing menu features a girl posing in a champagne glass, inviting people to dine and dance at Muff's Club. We assume that Muff refers to the owner's name. The menu includes dishes such as frogs legs a la muff and special muff steak. Is Muff the owner's nickname or surname? There are few clues and all we know is that the menu was printed in Modesto, California. We can't accurately date this menu either. The prices suggest that it's from the 1940s but the menu cover seems much more modern. Can anyone shed any light on this?
