Harry Carpenter's Sandwich Stands, Hollywood 1942

£20.00

There were five Harry Carpenter's Sandwich Stands including one that was located at the corner of Sunset and Vine that was close to the movie and television studios. Harry Carpenter called his places "The Original Modern Drive-In" which were open 24 hours a day. Customers could have a "Real Hamburger " sandwich for 15 cents and any other "Sit'N Eat" sandwich in their car. Service was also available at the gleaming tiled "sanitized" counter inside.
