A tiny image of a mermaid opening an oyster shell taken from the Oyster Loaf’s interior menu. The illustrations were created by the celebrated artist and author Andrew Loomis.

A successful illustrator, advertising designer, and author in the first half of the 20th century, Andrew Loomis (1892-1959) was a master at seamlessly combining products and fine art into one cohesive image

Loomis has influenced generations of illustrators, including comic book artists Alex Ross, Dick Giordano, Steve Rude, and Steve Lieber.

Each print is accompanied by a copy of the interior menu where available.

All prints come with a white border, for ease of framing. 

We make our prints with archival-quality fine art paper, using professional pigment inks. Properly framed or stored, our prints will last 70+ years without fading or discolouring.
